At Skin Glow Up, we believe in healthy, glowing skin but we also believe in honesty and integrity. Skincare products can do a lot, but they cannot fix all skin concerns. Sometimes, skin changes are a manifestation of underlying health conditions and diseases such as:
• Hormonal or metabolic disorders like diabetes which sometimes present as dark, velvety patches in skin folds also called acanthosis Nigricans, skin infections (bacterial or fungal), slow-healing wounds and ulcers

• Immune-related conditions such as HIV sometimes presents as maculopapular rash, seborrheic dermatitis, recurrent fungal infections, dry or itchy skin, Kaposi’s sarcoma (purple/red lesions).
• Rare syndromes like Waardenburg syndrome or other systemic diseases which can present as sometimes patches of lighter or darker skin
Products alone cannot address these issues. That’s why we always encourage our customers to:
• Visit a healthcare professional if skin changes are persistent or unusual
• Seek a dermatologist close to you for proper (in-person) physical skin examination and investigation
• Understand that a product is a supportive tool, not a substitute for medical care
At Skin Glow Up, our mission is safe, effective skincare combined with responsible guidance. We want your skin to glow but we also want you to stay healthy, informed, and empowered.
In summary:
Your skin is often a mirror of your overall health. When in doubt, consult a healthcare professional first, then use skincare products to enhance, support, and maintain your natural glow.
